W4DFU Shuttle Link

Beaty Towers The W4DFU repeater, 146.910 MegaHertz, is located on Beaty Towers East on the UF Campus. More pictures.

GARC Antenna
Tower The SPACE SHUTTLE link is received from W4YJC in Macclenny, Florida, on 144.330 Mhz.

The activation code on the W4DFU Repeater to turn the shuttle link on is 61. Code 63 will turn the link off. To monitor normal repeater traffic without the link, use tone squelch (CTCSS) on your transceiver with a subaudible tone code 123.0 Hertz. This will prevent the link audio from activating your receiver, while still allowing your receiver to monitor local amateur repeater traffic.

For the latest status on the SPACE SHUTTLE (launch, orbit, landing), please visit the NASA Spaceflight website.
